Welcome to Yoke's!

We are excited to introduce you to the excellent learning opportunities available to you as a Yoke’s associate.    You are now enrolled in Yoke’s FRESH Academy.  The Academy offers a wide variety of courses with topics ranging from store basics, intended for you to successfully join our team in your present job, to advanced programs, specifically designed to build skills for your career advancement within our company.   We appreciate your individual talent and ability, and we look forward to your unique contribution to Yoke’s.

The purpose of the FRESH Academy is to furnish our associates with opportunities to fulfill their potential and to accomplish the objectives as set forth in our Core Values:

We value working together for common goals by:

  • Communicating honestly and supporting each other with respect and kindness

  • Encouraging an atmosphere of fun, enthusiasm, and adventure

  • Welcoming each other’s creativity and risk taking

We have developed training materials and guides to assist Yoke’s associates in good decision-making especially as it applies to guest care and sales through product knowledge.   Please understand that it is the vision of this company for each associate’s decision-making to be driven by the honest intent to provide our guests with exceptional care.    These courses are meant to enhance, not limit our associates’ ability to meet or exceed our goal to be the preeminent regional grocery chain.  We encourage our associates to embrace our Mission Statement and our Core Values as a matter of culture.  By establishing this culture, our goal will be realized.
